Thursday, December 8, 2011. Recently we had the opportunity to visit some friends in Provence. They live in a small village called Carces and are retired to a nice little villa there. We had heard quite a bit about this wonderful region of France and were looking forward to seeing what types of plants they grew there. We spent a day just getting over the jet lag from the flight, and then we started to explore the grounds.

LoneSomeVille Art Studio and Private Inn. Lonesomeville is an artist studio specializing in decorative clay arts, textiles, garden design, interior design, and original works of art. Our studio was created around the original Blampede farmstead of the Woodstock neighborhood in Portland, Oregon. The house and acre grounds were condemned and slated for demolition and redevelopment when we found her 30 years ago.
